Workshop Past Tense

The aorist is often one of the biggest challenges for learners of Greek, as it brings together several new grammatical concepts at the same time. At the same time, it opens the door to important structures such as the subjunctive and many other essential aspects of the language.

Through the aorist, learners gain the ability to talk about past experiences, describe events, and express themselves with greater confidence and flexibility. Mastering this tense is an important step towards more natural and effective communication in Greek.

This workshop is best suited to learners who already have some familiarity with this grammar topic. For students with limited previous knowledge, additional practice and exposure to the language can provide a stronger foundation and help them get the most out of the course.

Building on the foundations of the aorist, this workshop introduces two essential structures of Modern Greek: the future tense and the subjunctive. Together, these forms allow learners to talk about future events, express intentions, wishes and possibilities, and communicate with greater confidence and accuracy.
