Workshop Future Tense & The Subjunctive

Building on the foundations of the aorist, this workshop introduces two essential structures of Modern Greek: the future tense and the subjunctive. Together, these forms allow learners to talk about future events, express intentions, wishes and possibilities, and communicate with greater confidence and accuracy.

This course helps students to strengthen their understanding in one of the most important areas of Greek grammar and gain the tools to communicate more naturally and effectively in everyday situations.

This workshop is best suited to learners who already have some experience with the aorist. For students with limited previous knowledge, attending the Aorist workshop and gaining some additional practice can provide an excellent foundation and help them get the most out of this course.

The aorist is often one of the biggest challenges for learners of Greek, as it brings together several new grammatical concepts at the same time. At the same time, it opens the door to important structures such as the subjunctive and many other essential aspects of the language.
