Greek Basic 1 (CEFR: A1) via Zoom

You want to learn the very basics of modern Greek and to be able to chat with the locals in a flash? Then, this is the right course for you.

In the Greek beginners’ course, you become familiar with the Greek alphabet and the pronunciation. You learn about the nouns and their gender, about adjectives and prepositions and how to conjugate verbs in the present tense.

You learn how to count and after all that, you will practice your knowledge by introducing yourself or your friends exchanging simple information, like your origin and nationality, the place you live, your work, your family etc.

Find yourself ready to chat with locals and make small purchases, using simple phrases and understanding simple information.

Greek Basic 2 (CEFR: A2.1) via Zoom

You already know the very basics of modern Greek, but you want to go a step further?

In this course you’ll learn to give information about you and other persons who surround you, to tell time in Greek, to talk about the days of the week and the months. You can talk about your daily life and routine, to ask directions, to order in restaurants and cafes or to do the shopping.

You feel familiar with the use of different cases of the nouns and adjectives and you expand your grammar knowledge with plural and the form of Future tense (=mellontas).

Greek Basic 3 (CEFR: A2.2) via Zoom

This step comes to give you wings as you will learn to talk about Past activities, vacation experiences, trips with friends, a day at work and much more. Talk also about your house, giving its advantages or disadvantages, make simple comparisons, describe your surrounding or neighborhood, etc.

At this level you also take a considerable step forward, as the Past tense is one of the most powerful things you learned until now. It is your “key” to unlock the rest of the Grammar: Future, Imperative, Subjunctive and many more.

Are you ready to express yourself in more complex situations?

Use your powerful “key” and the knowledge of Past and learn how to talk about future activities. Talk about your plans and things that you will do or you want / dream to do. Future facts or dreams? No matter; as at this level you will learn all you need to know. And last but not least: Imperative is also here to give the final touch to the accomplishment of the Basic Grammar.

Congratulations! Now, you know all the basics and the only it remains is to practice or enrich your Greek knowledge.
